About
Why is it important to be inclusive? Why and how am I responsible for inclusion as a kid? What actions can I take to be an includer? Through the exploration of three children’s books, this class focuses on the recognition of inclusion and exclusion in a way that is accessible and age-appropriate for the young child.
Inclusion has been a long-standing Social/Emotional educational standard for Early Childhood Development and the concept goes hand in hand with all things theater. Each session explores a different book and includes a creative activity that cultivates that concept.
Concept Recognition: Global Literacy. Cultural Literacy. Different. Same.
